Welcome to the Wolverley Memorial Hall.

The facility was created in 1962 with money left over from a village fund-raising effort to support soldiers returning from the Second World War. Today the hall is the focal point of the village and is used by many local groups.

The Wolverley Memorial Hall, in the village of Wolverley, Worcestershire is a community facility that is available for hire for the use of local residents. There is no external funding . The maintenance and operation of the Hall is carried out through the Wolverley Memorial Hall Charity by a small group of Trustees and volunteers. The monies received from hiring out the Hall go back into the running and upkeep of the building, the Childrens Play Area and the grounds”

Many fund-raising events are held each year to maintain the Hall and a separate subcommittee called the ‘Wolverley Memorial Project‘ has been created to manage the funding of future development. The ‘Wolverley Memorial Project‘ currently has a separate website for development plans and events. This website deals with the present Memorial Hall, its history, facilities, and users.
